Let's talk about printed products | Cornwall & Ottawa Photographer
Being a photographer, I know none of my clients have ever said "This USB of images will look great in the drawer next to the fireplace!" or "I can't wait to look through this box of CD's with our images on them"...I don't think anyone has ever actually said those phrases!
Digital images are great for sharing on social media or send to grandparents for them to add to their digital frames..but take a minute & remember what happened to that USB after the sharing was over? Odds are you had the best intentions to print your favourite images & design a collage for your space over the couch....then real life took over & next thing you know, it's been 3 years & your no closer to having those images up on your wall. Am I right?!?
My goal as a photographer, is to ensure my clients receive a full service experience!! What does “full service” mean exactly? Full service to me means, I am there to help you every step in the process of having your session. From scheduling the right time, to giving you tips on clothing ideas, helping you choose a location, to enhancing your images & helping you choose the heirlooms that fit best with your home. For today’s post, I am introducing each printed product that is currently offered to clients…these products each have their own desirable traits & what I absolutely LOVE about each product!
Gift prints…
First up are gift prints, they make for the perfect addition to your home decor & look great displayed anywhere - like in a store-bought frame or slipped into your photo albums! Photo prints also make great gifts because of their versatility, they can be used to send to grandparents or other close family members.
Gift print bundle includes 10 prints, clients are able to choose between:
4x6”
5x7”
8x10”
Mix it up or keep them all the same size, it’s completely up to you!!
Grandparents Frame…
The perfect shelf piece to show off your photos & an excellent gift idea for Grandparents!! Options for two or three 5x7” wooden prints hinged together in perfect harmony! Images are wood mounted to add a rustic charm to portraits! Wood prints are sealed with a archival film lamination to protect the image from sun damage, dust & other environmental elements.
These sets include dark oil rubbed bronze hinges.
Albums….
Albums are an amazing way to display your favourite images from your session! They are perfect for clients that are short on wall space, not sure which images to hang or intimated by the idea of hanging frames & are an excellent way to spend time with their family for “story time” while looking through the album together!
Albums may be personalized to suit each client.... adding meaningful quotes, poems or even song lyrics to the pages of your album will create a more personalized art piece!

Barn Beam Frame..
This is a brand NEW product & it’s quickly becoming my favourite!!
This beautiful rustic 20x20” wooden frame is made with a two and a half inch hand hewn, rough cut wood made to show off more than one image! Choose your favourite 8 images from your session to display in one frame!!
Storyteller Frame…
This two-toned beauty is a mix of classy and distressed with a chippy white interior framed by a black, neutral, or white wax finished outer rail!

Professional prints may seem expensive, but they are truly a gift given to you & your family to cherish! Prints that are printed or laminated with archival quality materials will remain stable for several generations! Archival & heirloom quality prints are able to be kept for at least 100 years before noticeable fading occurs or up to 150 years before fading becomes a real issue.
