I have said it a few times… I LOVE REPEAT CLIENTS!!! Who doesn’t?!?

Some families have a special place in my business…Hannah & David are one of them!!

Our connection began with photographing their engagement, wedding & two other family sessions as their family began to grow!!

First thing that I remind parents of littles is…don’t stress about their behaviour at all!! It’s a tall order, I know but if there is anything I have learned over the years it’s kids react off our emotions. So, if we are stressed, rushed or panicked they will pick up on that!! Instead, we try to focus on playing a game, walking, telling a story, tickles or just cuddling together as a family! If your little doesn’t want that….ok…we switch up the game plan & let them lead. Luckily, I didn’t have hardly any issues with these three little lads…such fun personalities!!

Huge tip…when scheduling your session, avoid choosing a time that interferes with nap or meal times!! Youngsters are never happy when they are tired or hungry!! You know your child best & already know if they are in great mood in the morning or afternoon…plan your session during that time frame!

We planned for a morning session, which is generally my favourite time to photograph sessions with little ones!!

As mentioned above, if your little ones aren’t interested in sitting down in front of the camera it’s time to switch it up!! We used swings, walks & allowing them to explore to help capture some memories for this family!! Helps to keep everyone happy…even the youngest children!!
